The latest models of digital inkjet printers are being equipped with color capabilities that supplement conventional Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. The result is expanded color gamuts, not to mention the potential for entirely new types of digital printing. To make sure you get the most out of this powerful new color technology, Wasatch SoftRIP is now equipped with new implementations of hi-fi color management. The new features work together with industry-standard ICC color profiles, to assure maximum color gamut and color rendering accuracy. There is no need to replace expensive color management software or tools.
A product of our years of experience with Orange and Green "hi-fi" inks, the most recent Wasatch upgrade goes beyond color management. It enforces rules governing the way inks are used, thus maximizing the benefits of FM screening, dilute-inks, and variable-dot methods. The results are the smoothest prints possible. The new version of Wasatch SoftRIP also improves your ability to use substrates with limited ink-retention. In effect, we have filled the gaps left by ordinary color management software.
Wasatch SoftRIP now supports CMYK plus Blue, Orange, Red, and Green on the ColorSpan DisplayMaker. In addition, we support Black, Turquoise, Red, Yellow, Orange and Blue on new digital fabric printers, such as the FabriJet. In fact, this software can support any ink set up to eight different colors, in combination with any number of dilute inks for "light-fi" resolution enhancement, or with variable-dot halftoning.
Wasatch SoftRIP's calibration tools are available on all channels, making hi-fi inks perform as consistently repeatable processes.
